All Hail the Chief
Simply put, this little RPU is a motivator.
More on that here: Perich Brothers
Kurt Morrow
There were a few pit stops on my way down to San Diego. Met up with Kurt at his new/old shop in Ventura and got a few more pictures for a project I'm working on. Always good to see, but I'm surprised he hasn't left for a hidden bungalow in a mountainous japanese town yet. Sometimes I think the subtleness of details in his bikes (and the amount of time he puts into them) are lost on most of the stateside motorcycle world. Check him out here: Ventura Motorworks
And thanks to Jailbird Jefe and Mr. McGinnis for the purple couch of sweet sleep and late night Venice boardwalk bike rides.

As Ice Cube would say....
Well, I'm sure you know the rest.
There will be blood.Sunshine, Twisties, January, Northern California and 70 deg. Word to your mother.
I haven't been on Hwy 35 for six years and it was night then. Never been on this section of hwy 1.
I have no pictures of the magic carpet ride that is this stretch of road. You'll have to go check it out for your self. 120 miles on a little 305cc. Good times galore.

Walk me out..
Used to hate a lot of things, but then again, they were all things I never tried. Older and wiser or beat down and desperate.
This song (never mind the title) used to be the song I would listen to while winding down for the night. Sometimes I would listen to it more then once because the build up was that good.
A mind eraser night cap to ensure a restful sleep....
Yet I never knew what it was about.
Or why exactly I had such a strong reaction to the particular song.
The interweb is an amazing tool.
Almost like that six degrees of Kevin bacon nonsense. But better.
The post-apocalyptic world never sounded so sweet.

If you actually went to that link you read that the song was originally written by Bonnie Dobson about the movie "On The Beach" an Australian movie about a post-nuclear fall out earth.
They don't have monologues in new movies.
INSANE! Racing footage from the movie.
Always wondered why morning dew reminded me of the smell of gear oil and sea air.
I guess they made a remake...
No Thanks.
Connect the dots. A clear mind is better then a soft matres.

How I've missed this place.
It's been a more then a few years, since I've caressed your sweet seventies curves, Greer Park. How I've missed your slippery walls, and ever changing youth art. I'll be back for more soon.
With softer wheels.

Shoot um up!
My taste in music is diverse, varied, yet focused around a conective ideal.
I've been into this band for a bit, but this video makes my month.
It's really dorky, but rad none the less.

Gunna take a freight train... down to the station.
This song came on in the rain at 3am, on a poorly received fm station, driving around empty streets in my truck. Yes, Toy, I can see. Forgot about this song.
What I said yesterday goes for tomorrow. New pictures. If your lucky.
